Charles D. Oppenheimer was born January 16, 1962 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, the son of Karl Oppenheimer, a native of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, and Delores Oppenheimer, a native of Jeffersonville. Charles moved to Ashland, Kentucky when he was six years old. He graduated from Paul G. Blazer High School in 1980. Charles attended the University of Kentucky and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1984 and then attended the University of Kentucky College of Law and graduated in 1987. After graduation Charles returned to Ashland to be close to his family and friends. He began the practice of law in 1987. After practicing with Clarence B. Creech, a local lawyer, Charles joined the firm that became Martin & Vincent, PSC in 1998 and he has remained with the firm since then. Charles is a member of the Kentucky and Boyd County Bar Associations and has been admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. Charles practices in the areas of personal injury, Social Security disability, estates and some selected domestic cases. Charles and his wife Marilyn reside in Ashland.
